Moho Mine Project, Mineral County, Nevada
The Moho Mine Project is located on the southern flank of the Excelsior Mountains in Mineral County, Nevada, approximately 43 kilometers southeast of Hawthorne, Nevada. The Moho Mine is a historic producer, between 1903 and 1937, thousands of tonnes of ore averaging 25 gpt gold and 300 gpt silver were produced from nearly 1,100 metres of underground workings. Precious metal mineralization is hosted by multiple northerly trending structures which cut Permian Mina Formation sedimentary and volcanic rocks. Mapping and sampling of surface exposures and accessible underground workings by KA Gold has yielding up to 26.6 gpt gold and 456 gpt silver. Multiple generations of intrusive activity, widespread hydrothermal alteration, combined with high grade past production, verified by recent sampling, support a plus million-ounce target concept.
MOH-002CA : 151.0 -151.4 m (0.4m) grading 26.8 gpt Au Eq (21.8 gpt Au, 376 gpt Ag) and 14.1% Pb
Ground magnetic surveys have defined the Moho Structural Corridor, a series of multiple en echelon veins and fault breccias, with a strike length in excess of 2000 metres. KA Gold drilled six core holes in 2018 totaling 1,960 meters with multiple high-grade intercepts:
· 1.4 m grading 17.0 gpt Au Eq (12.8 gpt Au, 312 gpt Ag) and 10.2% Pb including 0.4m grading 26.8 gpt Au Eq(21.8 gpt Au, 376 gpt Ag) and 14.1% Pb (MOH-002CA)
· 1.2 m of 9.8 gpt Au Eq (9.6 gpt Au, 16.8 gpt Ag) 0.3% Pb and 0.8% Zn (MOH-005C)
· 0.4 m of 7.8 gpt Au Eq (6.2 gpt Au and 0.4 m of 123 gpt Ag) 3.9% Pb, and 0.5% Zn (MOH-006C)
This drilling validated the target concept and the deposit remains open in all directions. The project has been partially reclaimed, however permits are in place for several additional platforms: Moho is drill-ready.
